THE SCANDINAVIAN APPROACH

With Issue #18, we begin a new journey.

A journey to explore what the Scandinavian approach means through our own lens. Not as a definition, but as an ongoing conversation—one that will continue to evolve with every issue. This issue is our way of exploring the many expressions of a Scandinavian mindset across fashion, design, architecture, beauty, art and travel. One that is in constant flux, shaped by people, places and experiences, while remaining rooted in simplicity, honesty and a deep appreciation for the beauty found in everyday life. For us, Scandinavian aesthetics begin with beauty, but they are ultimately about how beauty makes us feel. The spaces we inhabit, the objects we live with and the landscapes we return to all have the power to slow our pace, inspire us and shape the way we experience the world around us.

As we worked on this issue, we kept circling back to the same visual language: sand, sandstone and shadows. Natural textures. Clean architecture. Soft light. A sense of calm where simplicity leaves room to breathe. Together, they became the visual language that shaped this issue.

This is where our journey begins.
