PIGMENT
Adrift, unanchored, uncanny.
A conversation with Tove Storch
Photography by Andreas Bach
The work of Tove Storch resides at the intersection of soft fragility and distilled minimalism. Delicate, investigative, and solemn, Tove’s stripped-bare approach circumvents coldness owing to her ample employ of colour alongside the intrinsic humanity and femininity present in her pieces. Describing sometimes her own work as “clumsy random experiments”, Tove’s power lies in her ability to let go. In the end, it’s not so serious after all.
